In Memoriam: Prof.dr.sc. Marko Margaritoni, dr.med, plastični kirurg

‍Jučer je nakon teške bolesti, preminuo naš dragi kolega i prijatelj, bivši predsjednik HDPREK-a, prof.dr.sc. Marko Margaritoni, dr. med. u svom voljenom Dubrovniku kome je posvetio čitav svoj život i svoju karijeru.

‍

‍Subspecijalizaciju iz plastične kirurgije je završio na Klinici za plastičnu, rekonstrukcijsku i estetsku kirurgiju Medicinskog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu u KB Dubrava. Karijeru je nastavio u Županijskoj bolnici u Dubrovniku kao posvećeni plastični kirurg, dugogodišnji voditelj odjela plastične kirurgije i sveučilišni profesor medicinskog fakulteta u Splitu. 

‍

‍Malo tko u Dubrovniku i šire ne zna za njegovu ljubav kao liječnika vaterpolo tima Juga kome je ostao vjeran do kraja života.

‍

‍Pokretač je razmjene specijalizanata HDPREK-a i Danskog kraljevskog društva za kirurgiju šake. 

‍Kao predsjednik i dopredsjednik HDPREK-a organizirao je bezbroj kongresa u svom voljenom gradu i u tome je bio nenadmašan.

‍

‍No, mi iz ceha ćemo ga uvijek pamtiti kao osnivača „Adriatic Club-a“ i „Fellows 

‍in Science“ plastičnih kirurga regije jugoistočne Europe koji je u posljednjih deset godina s organizacijom Akademija plastične kirurgije na MSC kruzerima obilježio naše živote. 

‍

‍Njegov osmijeh i suptilni osjećaj za humor ćemo pamtiti dok smo živi. Bio je dobri duh i pokretač našeg Društva. Falit će nam. Jako.

‍

It is my great pleasure to invite you to the ESAPS Workshop on Aesthetic Breast Surgery, which will take place on Friday, the 28th November 2025 in Brussels.


Organised by the ESAPS Scientific Committee, this focused, high-level workshop will bring together some of Europe’s leading experts to explore challenging cases in aesthetic breast surgery. Through interactive sessions, expert-led sessions, and real clinical examples, you will gain valuable insights into advanced techniques and decision-making processes in this complex field.


Strategically scheduled just one day before the RBSPS Autumn Meeting : Breast Talks - Clash of Concepts, this event offers an excellent opportunity to combine two outstanding educational experiences in a single visit to Brussels.


In addition, we are pleased to introduce the ESAPS Aesthetic Breast Programme during this event. This one-year educational track combines structured online modules with in-person visits to renowned European centres, designed to offer in-depth, standardised training in aesthetic breast surgery.


We invite you to submit an abstract for the session “Meet the Experts - Discussion on Difficult Cases in Aesthetic Breast Surgery” during the ESAPS workshop, which will take place on Friday, the 28th November 2025.

Please submit your abstract by the end of September.

In Memoriam dr.Jose A.Varas Fuenzualida

Jučer je naglo, i više nego prerano, preminuo naš dragi kolega i prijatelj, redoviti član HDPREK-a, dr. Jose A.Varas Fuenzalida, u Dublinu, u Irskoj. 

Specijalizaciju iz plastične, rekonstrukcijske i estetske kirurgije je završio u Hrvatskoj. 


Pamtimo ga kao jednog od najboljih i najsvestranijih i najvrijednijih specijalizanata. I oženio se u Hrvatskoj. Bog ga je podario s prekrasnom djecom i suprugom, također kolegicom. Izniman kolega plastični kirurg s širokim spektrom znanja iz oblasti plasične, rekonstrukcijske i estetske kirurgije i nadasve dobar i lojalan prijatelj. Veliki gubitak za sve nas članove HDPKREK-a. 



Pokoj mu vječni Gospodine.
